Casting Networks

How do I link my agent to my Casting Networks profile?

Ask your agent to send you a roster invite or add your profile to their Casting Networks roster. Once connected, they can see and submit your profile for agent-only breakdowns.

Casting Networks has a separate "agent" side of the platform. Your agent needs to link your profile to their agent account for the connection to work.

How it works:

  1. Your agent sends a request from their CN agent portal, or you send them your profile GUID.
  2. You approve the connection from your notifications or profile settings.
  3. Your profile now appears on their roster, and they can submit you for breakdowns.

If you don't have an agent yet:

You don't need one to use CN. You can self-submit for any public breakdown. Agent linking is only relevant if you're signed with an agency.

If you change agents:

Remove the old agent's connection first (from your profile settings) before accepting the new agent's request. CN allows multiple representatives (legit dual-rep situations like LA agent + NYC manager) but each needs to be added separately.

Common pitfall:

Self-represented actors sometimes think linking to "no agent" hides their profile from casting. It doesn't — CN displays your representation (or lack of it) publicly, and most commercial breakdowns accept self-represented submissions just fine.

Verify agent legitimacy:

Only link to agents you've signed actual contracts with. CN has seen scams where "agents" ask to be added to profiles just to harvest information or pitch scam services.
