How do I cancel my Backstage subscription?

Go to Account Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Backstage sometimes hides the cancel option — look for "Manage" or "Change Plan" links, and if all else fails, email support.

Backstage's cancellation flow has a reputation for being slightly hidden. Here's how to navigate it.

The standard path:

  1. Log in and click your account icon (top-right).
  2. Open Account Settings.
  3. Find Subscription or Billing.
  4. Click Manage SubscriptionCancel.
  5. Confirm. They may try to offer discounts to keep you — decline if you're sure.

If you can't find a cancel button:

  • Try the "Change Plan" link, which sometimes routes to cancellation.

  • If you subscribed through the iOS or Android app, you cancel through your Apple ID or Google Play subscription, not through Backstage's website.
