Actors Access
How much does Actors Access cost?
A basic account is free. Most actors pay per submission or upgrade to Actors Access Plus (~$68/year) for unlimited submissions and more media slots.
Actors Access has a tiered pricing model that trips up a lot of new actors.
The three levels:
- Free account — lets you create a profile, upload limited media, and see breakdowns. You can submit, but each submission uses a credit that you have to purchase.
- Pay-as-you-go credits — usually around $2 per submission for submissions outside your local market, or less for local. You pre-purchase credit blocks.
- Actors Access Plus — around $68 per year (pricing varies by market) for unlimited submissions in your region, more media slots, and priority support.
What most working actors do:
Most actors who are actively submitting pay for Plus. The math is simple — if you submit more than ~30 times a year, Plus pays for itself. If you're in a major market like LA or NYC and submitting regularly, it's an obvious yes.
Hidden costs to know about:
- Uploading videos usually has a separate fee unless included in your Plus plan — check the exact terms.
- Photo uploads beyond the free limit can cost extra.
- Some breakdowns are industry-only (SAG, agent-submitted) and won't be visible to a free account.
Bottom line: budget $70–$150/year if you're taking Actors Access seriously.
