Actors Access

How do I update or add headshots on Actors Access?

Go to Dashboard → Media → Photos. You can upload new headshots and set a primary shot. Older shots stay unless you delete them.

Actors Access lets you have multiple headshots on your profile, each with a tag so casting can see which type you're selling.

To add a headshot:

  1. Log in and go to Dashboard → Media → Photos.
  2. Click Add Photo and upload your JPG (minimum 400x500, maximum usually 2MB per shot).
  3. Tag the shot — Commercial or Theatrical are the most common, but there are others (Character, Hosting, etc.).
  4. Set which one is your primary — this is what shows as your thumbnail in casting director searches.

What to watch out for:

  • Actors Access thumbnails are tiny. Check your shot looks good at 150×200 pixels — not just full-size.
  • Your primary should be your strongest, most current, most type-accurate shot.
  • If you have wildly different looks (e.g., long hair vs. buzz cut, or clean-shaven vs. full beard), tag them clearly so casting doesn't think you're deceiving them.
  • If you look significantly different from your headshots now, reshoot. Showing up to an audition and not matching your photo is a fast way to burn a relationship with a casting office.

The free account usually allows a limited number of headshots. Upgrading to Actors Access Plus increases the limit.
